The Political Entrepreneur

Can our two political parties launch us into the 21st century?

Fifteen years into the 21st century voters have never been less confident in their government.  Two-thirds of voters believe the country is moving in the wrong direction.  Fifty-three percent of voters believe neither party represents them.  Over 70 million citizens do not even bother to register, and our trust in government has plummeted from over 70 percent in the 1960’s to under 20% today.

If politics were an economic market, and it is, then new entrants will eventually find their way into this old, stodgy marketplace with fresh faces and a new vision for the future.

This year our political parties have discovered the power of the outsider, and sometimes outsiders change the complexion of the political parties.  But can these interlopers change the vision, the execution, and the style of leadership of the parties.  Maybe, maybe not.  My vote says it is unlikely.

If I were a betting man, I would say next year, whether its Bernie or Clinton, Trump, or Ted or Marco, not much will change in Washington.

So, if nothing changes, it up to us to generate new vision for America, one that values our freedom, is created with simplicity, and produces great results.

How do you vote: let me know.

  1. Well said! If nothing changes – nothing changes. Establishment elites have no incentive to change anything. Younger people are not taught factual history anymore so they don’t get how dangerous a path we are on. Someone other than a socialist needs to come along and educate and inspire them. A tough task!
